Assembly Bill 587 (AB 587), sponsored by ADL and Assemblymember Gabriel, is a bipartisan bill with support from more than 60 community organizations across the state that will require big social media platforms to be more transparent in their reporting and content moderation policies – essential actions to mitigating the spread of hate, misinformation, disinformation, racism, and violence.
Together, we can make online and physical spaces safer for all.
